This premium synthetic motor oil is specially developed for engines of Mercedes-Benz which are equipped with BlueTEC technology. MPM Motor Oil 5W-30 Premium Synthetic MBT is recommended for the ultra-modern common rail diesel engines where engine oil with the MB 229.52 specification is mandatory. This high-quality MPM engine oil ensures excellent fuel savings and the synthetic base oils provide excellent wear protection and stability to ensure long drain intervals.
This motor oil is not only suitable for Mercedes-Benz diesel engines with an exhaust particle filter but is also suitable for all other Mercedes-Benz models with petrol and diesel engines where the MB-Approval 229.51 or 229.31 are recommended. MB-approval 229.52 supersedes these approvals and is backwards compatible.
MPM Motor Oil 5W-30 Premium Synthetic MBT with MB approval 229.52 is mandatory for the following models and engine codes:

- Mercedes-Benz GL-class, G-320/G-350 BlueTEC with engine code 642 820.
- Mercedes-Benz ML-class, ML-320/ML-350 BlueTEC with engine code 642 820.
- Mercedes-Benz R-class, R-350 BlueTEC with engine code 642 870.
- Mercedes-Benz S-class, S-350 BlueTEC with engine code 642 642 861/642 862/642 868.
